Music for saxophone and full band arrangements
From late 2007 I shall be distributing arrangements and sheet music of my own compositions in aid of various charities, all of these will be very suitable for playing on the saxophone as well as various combinations of instruments. These arrangements can be used by anyone: amateurs, professionals, teachers, students and can be played solo, with simple piano accompaniment or as a small band. Eventually I would like to expand the site to include saxophone music by other composers and musicians. Although some of this will be free sheet music, the main aim is to generate money for charity so most of the saxophone arrangements and sheet music will be available for a small fee or donation.
What Do You Need To Do?
When you download the arrangements you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader or Preview to see and print the sheet music (leadsheets, parts and/or scores).

This tune was originally featured in a tennents Pilsner Commercial, but the saxophone solo has been used for a Wrigleys commerrcial. A transcription of the improvised blues solo is included as well as music for the band.
Bodacity
This bebop tune was originally featured in the Michael Caine movie "Blue Ice". The Mr Lucky CD contains a remixed version. This arrangement is for a small jazz combo, all parts are unison so can be played with practically any combination of instruments.
Stick It To ’Em
This tune is featured as the theme music for the Meridian TV series Monkey Business (video). It is intended to be a flexible "head" arrangement in that you can play any of the 8 bar sections in any order you like, repeat any or miss any out entirely. You can also play the chart exactly as it looks.
Hard Hat Area
This is very basic "lead sheet" version with top line (melody and harmony) and chords for Eb, Bb, C (treble clef) and C (bass clef) instruments
Voodoo Chill
This arrangement is for a small combo, all parts are unison so can be played with practically any combination of instruments, but it may work best for a rhythm section and one or two lead instruments.
Also included is a transcription of the baritone saxophone as played on Mr Lucky.
The Organisation
This tune was originally composed for a Dry Blackthorn cider comercial. This arrangement is for a small jazz combo, all parts are unison so can be played with practically any combination of instruments. There are also some backing parts cued on the front line instruments (small blue notes), so that a slightly more complex arrangement can be made up.
